To me, there should be a mix.  As an undergraduate stdying Radio, TV, and
Film, the idea of making films is really just a dream at this point, and the
quality of film stock really doesn't matter to me.  However, it may to some
people, so it is fine with me if it is posted--I can just skip those
messages.  A discussion of _Citizen Kane_ may not be important to a
film/video MAKER, so they can skip over those.
Another thought:
FILM-L deals with filmmaking and reviews
VIDPRO-L is a videomakers discussion
One of these MAY be a better route; I am not subscribed so I don't really
know, but it is something to look into.
