Subject: Re: Desert Hearts

I urge anyone interested in acquiring a copy of _Desert Hearts_ to AVOID using
the version of the film that has recently been broadcast on the Bravo cable
channel. Because Bravo is carried on several systems for free (I pay $9 a
month for it in New York), the channel edits out nudity, foul language and
anything else that might offend Middle America. As you might imagine, many of
the scenes in _Desert Hearts_ have been rescanned or cut to eliminate nudity.
