This post is on behalf of a post-graduate student, who will be visiting
Buenos Aires in September.

Her research concerns the use of stage presentations within film
programmes in the 1920s and 1930s. Part of this is the study of how
cinema buildings contribute to the construction of the meaning of the
event of going to the cinema. She would like to talk to anyone in Buenos
Aires who is researching any related field, and would particularly like
to look at any picture palaces of that tine which have survived.

Please respond direct to Anne Bittner at:

Thank you,
