I'd like to second Robert's suggestion of the Cinema One titles. In
particular, Peter Graham's THE NEW WAVE and Robin Wood's HOWARD HAWKS are
key texts that have aged well.
Is SIXGUNS AND SOCIETY out of print? I see it's listed on Amazon.com
(University of California Press; ISBN: 0520034910).
