Check out "Slacker". There is an excellent scene with a character
who lives in a small room filled with television sets, he even has one
strapped to his back. He goes on to explain why tv is much better than real
life. There are many references to this theory in the film. It is a great
film to use in any paper dealing with post modern culture.
