WANTED: Assistant Professor, tenure track, to be hired into Sociology 
Department, with responsibilities to support the curriculum of that 
department but also to provide strong teaching and administrative 
support for our interdisciplinary Communication Studies Program and 
specifically, our media production studio.  Areas of research 
specialization flexible, but should be able to teach courses in at least 
several of the following areas: news media, media ethics, intercultural 
communication, political broadcasting & communication, social contexts 
of new media technologies, as well as production-related courses with 
digital editing equipment (Final Cut Pro, Avid).  An ideal candidate 
would have a Ph.D. in Communication, although other terminal degrees 
will be considered. A commitment to teaching, college service and 
student advising at our small, well-ranked liberal arts college, located 
in Westchester County just north of New York City, is essential.  
Starting date: fall 2005 s!
