This topic might go on for a while but I couldn't resist adding that
Entertainment Weekly just reported that Johnny Depp will play John Wilmot,
Earl of Rochester, surely an unlikely subject for a Hollywood
film.  (Though while doing some research I ran across an early 70s news
item that Mick Jagger was planning to star as Artaud.  Don't know if that
ever progressed beyond the announcement.)
