Matt of Charlotte inquired about Clerks.

In John Pierson's (president of Grainy Films) book "Spike, Mike, Slackers,
and Dykes" (refering to the films he's helped make it to the screen).
There are a series of interviews with Clerk's director Kevin Smith. Good
insights on the filmmaker if you're interested.

Sincerely,

Mark Allen
