And another thing:
 
No one's yet mentioned the offensiveness of Matt Damon's little nostalgia
monologue to Tom Hanks at the end of the film:  that story he tells about
his brothers fooling around with a girl in the barn.  You remember, he
laughs all the way through it.  Was I the only one who saw that as a fond
recollection of a date rape?
