WINE COUNTRY FILM FESTIVAL
CALL FOR ENTRIES
The 13th Wine Country Film Festival, July 22-August 15th, is now
accepting entries. Noted for its exceptional programming and casual
wine country ambiance, one of the things that makes this Festival of
American and international cinema so unique is the number of outdoor
screenings known as "Films al Fresco™." Eighteen films will be shown
al fresco in Napa Valley and
at the festival's outdoor venue, Valley of the Moon Cinema, inside the
old winery ruins at Jack London's Historic Ranch in Glen Ellen, Sonoma
Valley. Films (eighty in all) will also be screened at the Sebastiani
Theater in Sonoma.
In addition to the "showcase" of fine cinema, the Festival features
Competitions of First Feature films, Best Short Film and the WCFF David
Wolper Documentary Film Prize.
Entry deadline: APRIL 30th. Fee per entry: $30 US. All categories and
genre are eligible: documentaries, shorts, animation, features. The
festival accepts 16, 35mm and video formats. previous showings at other
festivals is OK. Submit your entry on 1/2" VHS.
