_Member of the Wedding_

_The Best Years of Our Lives_ has one of the best "wedding as community"
scenes with
the wedding at the end reinforcing an older couple's marriage and
foreshadowing happiness for the maid of honor and her love. (Theresa Wright
and Dana Andrews)

_World's Oldest Living Bridesmaid_ (haven't seen this but sounds promising.)

Let me plug IMDB for film research: you can search by keyword (such as
wedding, divorce, prison, what-have-you.)
