The 1998 Auburn Film Society Student Video Competition

Competition Categories
1. College Student Videomaker
2. High School & Younger Videomaker
 
Genres
1) Animation
2) Documentary
3) Abstract/Experimental
4) Short Narrative
5) High School & Younger Videomaker
 
Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry.
 
Entry Regulations: Competition is open to U.S. and International entries
completed by students enrolled in an accredited college or university for
the College Videomaker category and enrolled in an accredited primary or
secondary school or equivalent for High School & Younger Videomaker
category.  The videos should not be more than 2 years old.  Send entries in
bubble wrap envelopes (or other protective containers).  There is no limit
to the number of entries ($10.00 per entry).
 
Entries: Entries must be submitted on 1/2" (standard) video cassette--DO
NOT SEND ORIGINALS--only copies will be accepted.  Mark videocassette
prominently with videomaker's name, title of work and genre.  Winners may
be chosen for screening during the annual Jay Sanders Film Festival.
Please note that entries cannot be returned to you unless you enclose self-
addressed, stamped return packaging for each entry.
 
Entry Enclosures:
Each entry must be accompanied by the following:
Entry fee (check or Money order for $10.00 in U.S. funds made payable to
Auburn University)
A short synopsis of entry and bio of Videomaker.
A self-addressed, stamped postcard (OR email address) for notification of
receipt of entry.
Official entry form (below), completed and signed.
 
Liability: Although every possible care will be taken with tapes while in
our possession, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.  Do not
send original tapes.
 
Agreement: Submission of an entry gives the Auburn Film Society permission
to show the work at the annual Jay Sanders Film Festival--unless otherwise
requested in writing by the videomaker.
