I am carrying out some research on early experiments at synchronisation of
film sound using gramophone records.
I am very keen to find out information on George Mendel, who may have been
French, but was certainly working in France in 1908, where he made a short
feature with Caruso.
I have searched my own book shelves, but found nothing - so, any
information at all would be most welcome.
Thanks.
