Hi All,

I am currently writing a paper on projecting ourselves into movies and
computer games (mainly from a psychological point of view). I should really
appreciate if you can help me with the following:

What I need are:

1. Titles of the movies in which someone projected him/herself into a
movie/computer game. The only example I can think of so far is Woody
Allen's "The Purple Rose of Cairo" (however I am not sure whether the
viewer entered the movie or the movie hero came down to her -- can anyone
solve this?)

2. Books on identification/involvement with film and computer games
characters. I am familiar with books/articles by Turkle.

Every litte helps...if you have happened to run across something on this
subject, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Cheers!

Dorota
