I have not seen Ishtar since it was first released, but I remember fondly
sitting between my two young daughters when it premiered and we giggled and
laughed our way through the entire movie.  De gustibus non disputandum est,
I guess.
 
P.S. The fact that it cost so much virtually predestined it to fail. If you
check the critical response, you will notice that almost every critic
blasted it for being so expensive.
