I was watching Fritz Lang's _M_ today, and upon hearing Mr. Lorre's

whistling I wondered: "If I were to make a compilation of some of film

history's most famous sound clips, what would be included?"

 

An interesting task.  I would probably begin with the above.  Thought

it might be fun to ask for suggestions.  Ideas, anyone?
