I think the best films were.
1. En Avoir ou Pas ( To Have/Or Not)
2. La Fille Seule Seule
3.  Les Apprentices
 
How you could think" Les Caprices d'un Fleuve" was anything but a rather
racist example of French kiddy porn is beyond me....
Why ignore the fact that "Dis-moi Oui" and "Elisa" also worked on  the same
fantasy?
