I'll be most interested in the responses to this question of the members
of the list developing a filmography for a thesis student.
 
Without more information it seems to me that this work might be a part
of the student's job. If a bibliography indirectly states that the
writer has actually read the material, and thus done the selecting,
should not that notion be extended to a filmography?
 
On the other-hand, that should not preclude asking questions, right.
