ANNOUNCING THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE "OMNIBUS:EYE" WORLD WIDE WEB SITE:
THE FUTURE OF MEDIA PRODUCTION AND STUDY ON THE INTERNET!
<http://www.rtvf.nwu.edu>
After several months of development, the Northwestern University Department
of Radio/TV/Film is proud to announce the official launch of the
OMNIBUS:EYE WWW Site at <http://www.rtvf.nwu.edu>. Every page on the site
has been upgraded and enhanced to facilitate the new Netscape1.1 as well as
browsers with limited image handling abilities.
The OMNIBUS:EYE Project is our vision of the future for the production and
study of digital media upon the world-wide network including the creation
and anthologizing of "transpixins"(digital movies viewed over the
internet). We have modeled our site upon our own diverse department which
is involved with all aspects of media creation and study. The OMNIBUS:EYE
site is dedicated to providing a source of and connection to all types of
WWW media-related resources.
