Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me find some research materials. I need
to look at 1930s through 50s movie magazines such as Photoplay, Motion Picture,
Screenland, Movie Life, Screen Guide, Hollywood, Screen Book, Movie Mirror,
Modern Screen, Screen Romances, Movie Story, Picture Play, New Movie Magazine,
etc. Someone told me I might be able to find these at the Bowling Green Pop
Culture Library. Does anyone know if this is true (and who I should talk to).
I'm also going to LA and NY for research trips--are these magazines avaailable
anywhere in those cities (such as the UCLA or Herrick Libraries)? Any help
would be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your time and consideration.
Respond personally.
Matt Ramsey
