The original cut of _Blade Runner_ is a dystopian and then a strangely
utopian film. The director's cut removed the utopia but that move didn't
quite work either. I'm new to screen-l so I'm assuming _Blade Runner_ has
been talked to death, but if anyone is willing I'd certainly discuss it.
