Subject: M*A*S*H laff tracks
 
I believe that hyped-up-sans-laff-track episode had to do with a surgical
procedure that had to be done within thirty minutes of receiving a patient.
A little clock ticking away the minutes appeared in a lower corner of the
I always felt that the show w/o the laff track added a sense of "class" to
the series.  At best, or so it seemed in later episodes, the laff track was
kept to a minimum, which allowed me to really enjoy the show.
