Subject: Jonathan Demme and PARTING THE WATERS
 
Recently, I heard a rumor that Jonathan Demme has purchased or is pusuing
the rights to _Parting the waters_ by Taylor Branch.  Does anyone know
wheter or not this is true?  Also, does anyone know how I might contact
Demme?  Write to me directly, please.
