I don't know about a film, but around five years ago there was definitely a
West End theatre dramatization of Siegfied Sassoon's life. I know it got
numerous reviews and coverage in the press at the time (although I can't
remember the title or anything). It should be fairly easy to locate
references to it. Is the film you're looking for a version
of this play?
