It's been one of those days...
When discussion picks up on SCREEN-L, so do the number of error
messages I get that inform me of bad addresses. Today I had over
250 of them.
When I receive an error message saying an address is bad, I usually
wait a couple of days to see if the problem will correct itself. When
SCREEN-L traffic is high, however, that waiting period shortens and just
a couple of bad address notices will get an address deleted from the list.
Sooooo, if you find you've been cut from SCREEN-L it's probably because
of some problem between ua1vm (the University of Alabama's mainframe,
which hosts SCREEN-L) and the computer you're using--assuming your
account on that computer is still valid.
