There's actually nothing ironic in this "control" strategy at all. In
fact, the way this marketing works, the more public screenings Zeitgeist
can book, the more people like you and me will hear about the film and
want to book it in classrooms. Sure, it's about making a buck -- but it's
also about spreading the word as forcefully and powerfully as possible.
