Richard...unfortunately the most useful online databases for
searching media titles are not on internet...
 
When searching for Kuhle Wampe, I accessed the "San Francisco
Chronicle" via Dialog, which mentioned its American release title as
"Whither Germany."
 
I also checked First Search (which includes the OCLC database) and
found a film review of it by R. Hayman in Arts & Humanities Search.
