I saw your message on e-mail about your research on the
portrayal of native peoples in a Canadian television series.
I am, together with Tamar Liebes of Hebrew University,
editing a book for Westview Press entitled The Return of the
Native: Popular Culture Representations of Indigenous
Peoples. Very briefly (I will send a fuller proposal if you
are interested) the book deals with the way peoples of color
in the Americas, Australia, South Africa and Israel have
been represented in the dominant media. Contributors
include John Tulloch and John Hartley on Australia and
Kenyan Tomaselli on South Africa.
Do you have an article that you would like to submit for
consideration for inclusion? I can't make any promises
since I have to consult with my co-editor but I would very
much like to see what you are working on. Let me know what
you think by e-mail if you would.
My address (and name, come to think of it) are:

I look forward to hearing from you!
