While it doesn't quite fit in with your listing of feature films, one
of the most interesting "visions" of a utopian future was the 1939
New York World's Fair.  There's an excellent documentary on the fair
titled _The World of Tomorrow_, which originally aired pm
 
 
 
on PBS as
part of _The American Experience_.  (It's available on tape from
Direct Cinema and is definitely worth checking out, if only for your
own interest.
