Subject: Voter Turnout and the TV Networks
The networks and CNN have announced plans to continue their practice of making
election projections before the polls close in all states. This year for the
first time they'll all be getting their predictions from the same polling
company, so they can't even claim that it's a competitive issue.
Among the results of these early projections on election day:
o Lower voter turnout in the Western States
o Changed election outcomes
o Increased voter cynicism
