I've written this file in Wordperfect. This is actually the
second time I've done this, so I know that it will work. The
process is relatively easy. First, the writing (and
spellchecking in my case :-) ) and then the file is saved in the
ASCII format by using the CTRL-F5 key combination.

This will bring up several options at the bottom of your
screen. Choose 1 DOS Text and the next menu will appear. Choose
1 Save and when prompted give the file a name.

I use the 3270 "SEND" protocal to upload the file to CMS and
"load" it into my mail packet. Please remember to use the
'Send <dostext ext> (crlf ascii' options as this will make sure the file
is uploaded in ascii.

In the mail 'reply' mode, I 'GET <dostext ext> and the file is brought
into my mail file.

To download the file to work with in Wordperfect just use the
'Receive <dostext ext> (crlf ascii' command.

     Hope this was useful.

     Susie.
