Dear all,
This month, the BBC Written Archives Centre (WAC) turns 50. To celebrate its anniversary, Tom May (Northumbria University) has written a piece for the IAMHIST Blog on his experience of using the archive, the types of materials it holds and how to access it (pre and hopefully post COVID-19) for the series 'A Day at the Archives':

Happy birthday to the BBC WAC!
Should you, or another scholar you know, be interested in contributing a piece for this series, either on physical or online repositories, as well as the impact that COVID-19 may have had on researching media history, please do contact me.
Best wishes,
Llewella
