Are you a researcher, filmmaker, broadcaster, videographer or screen image
artist critically exploring celebrity culture and journalism in media?

Receive a screening opportunity of your work and eligibility for $100 CMCS
screen award at the *Celebrity Chat (CC) Screening *event in Manhattan, New
York City. The screening will offer an international platform for creative
researchers, filmmakers, broadcasters, and video artists that critically
engage with fame. It will also launch the CMCS *Celebrity Chat*
<http://cmc-centre.com/celebrity-chat/series/>video series, for which you
can be interviewed. Entrance will be determined upon evaluation by our
review committee.

*Entry guidelines:*

   - 250-word proposal
   - Original short films, video art works, media installations,
   audiovisual performances, network based projects, and interviews (max 30
   mins)
   - Include a title, your name, e-mail address, and affiliation if
   applicable
   - Submit the proposal to Chairs Dr Jackie Raphael and Dr Samita Nandy at
   [log in to unmask] and send DVDs to the mailing address below.
   - Entry deadline: *July 6, 2015*
   - Registration deadline: *July 31, 2015*
   - Screening dates: *September 2-3, 2015*

Registration includes printed program*,* screening session, professional
development workshop, evening reception event at Club Quarters, Rockefeller
and consideration for the $100 CMCS screen award.

Media and Celebrity Studies (CMCS) international conference series in
