Please excuse a piece of shameless self-promotion.
In case anyone might be in London next week (on 30th January) - I am
hosting a screening of Chaliapin's rarely seen film of Ivan the Terrible
(1915).
This will take place at Pushkin House starting at 7.00 p.m. and there are
