Might I also suggest our own "Early Russian Cinema" series that the British
Film Institute produced and gives an overview of the amazing films being made
from 1908 through 1918. And also our new DVD "Electric Edwardians" featuring
the rediscovered films of Mitchell & Kenyon from 1900 to 1913 as well as "Silent
Shakespeare" that covers 1897 to 1913.

The BFI is producing a lot of packages of early cinema these days, as a
matter of fact.
