Facets Multimedia in Chicago has a rental VHS copy of "L'Inhumaine" that
is no restoration but doesn't look too bad. (There's also quite a nice
color restoration of L'Herbier's "Eldorado").

Some of Facets's rental policies have changed, but the information
should be accessible at www.facets.org.

    I am trying to track down any copies of a film by Marcel L'Herbier,
called "L'Inhumaine" (one English translation is "The Inhuman Woman"),

1924. Apparently some of the sets were designed by Fernand Leger, and I

that I've met people who've seen and studied it.  That's about all I've
