I am schedule to chair a session entitled "Gender & Race in Literature &
Film" at the upcoming meeting of the Rocky Mountain Modern Language
Association, Oct. 9-11, in Missoula, Montana.  Thus far I have not received
any proposals.  If anyone is interested in presenting a paper, please
contact me.  Last year all the papers were on film.  If is necessary to
belong to the RMMLA in order to give a paper.  Thanks, Bill Hendrickson,
