Easy. Fox lost the rights when their term expired. They're going to be
released by Warner Brothers sooner or later, but you might want to pick up
the old DVDs when you have the chance. Rumor has it that they'll be different
-- though better or worse will be for all to see when they come out. There's
a DVD of THE GREAT DICTATOR already along with Kevin Browlow's documentary on
the making and reception of the film, though I don't think it's released in
the US yet.
