Scott,

    I do not remember the specific show you are talking about, but it use to
be common for the networks, especially CBS to have a summer program where
they would just show the pilots which did not make it to the schedule.  I
think the networks are doing that now with the very short lived "Sammy" on
NBC and the animated "Clerks" on ABC.  Remember it was only a Summer ago we
were forced to watch a dried-up daytime talk show host attempt to give away
a million dollars.  It seems that the networks are going back to using the
Summer to air the shows they would not have aired in the fall or even as
winter replacements.  Good idea.
