Lecturer in Film Studies (Fixed-term)
Applications are invited from candidates with research and teaching
interests in film studies. The successful candidate will be expected to
teach one MA module (Film and Cultural Theory) and one undergraduate module
(American Film Genres), take a share of administration, and participate in
the research culture of the Institute/School.

Lecturer in American Literature (Fixed-term)
Applications are invited from candidates with research and teaching
interests in American literature. The successful candidate will be expected
to co-teach a core first-year module American Literature to 1900; offer two
other modules in any area of American literature/culture; take a share in
administration; and participate in the research culture of the School.
This post is available from 1 September 2000 and will be offered on a
fixed-term contract for a period of one year. Please quote ref. PEB/030.
Lecturer in American History (Fixed-term)
Applications are invited from candidates with research and teaching
interests in American history. The successful candidate will be expected to
teach a large core first-year module American History to 1900; take a share
in administration; and participate in the research culture of the School.

Salary will be within the range £17,238 - £22,579 per annum (under review),
depending on qualifications and experience.
