I don't believe anyone has yet mentioned Mira Nair's _Mississippi Masala_
(1992), which is interesting in that it follows an Indian family who are
forced to leave their adopted land of Uganda for the American South, where
they are once again "outsiders"--and where some Indian immigrants exhibit
prejudice against African Americans and even darker-skinned Indians.
