There is a company in San Francisco -- sorry, can't recall the name --
that is producing Barbie make-overs such as "Trailer Trash Barbie"
(complete w/ grubby child on hip), "Biker Ken," "S&M Barbie," and an
assortment of others. You can even special order, apparently. They use
actual Barbie dolls, and the manufacturer (Mattel?) has so far been
unsuccessful at stopping them.

Perhaps you could find this enterprise and use their products as a demo
in your class!!
