Wabash College is building a Latin American film component into our
International Studies curriculum, and a colleague and I have been
charged with building a core collection of approximately 20 Latin
American films. We would be most grateful if members of this list would
suggest films that, in your opinions, MUST appear on this list. We are
essentially building the collection from scratch, so we are eager to
hear from you.

On a related note, we are also seeking a specialist in Latin American
Film Studies for a one-semester appointment in the spring of 2000. This
person should have experience teaching Latin American Film in a broader
International Studies context and an ongoing record of scholarship.
Current graduate school and ABD candidates are welcome to apply. I will
provide more information and explain application procedure upon request.

If you are interested in the position, please contact me at the
signature email address below. If you'd like to recommend films for our
collection, please respond publicly to the Screen-L list.
