There is a wonderful, old horror film called The Curse of the Demon
with Dana Andrews (?). In the end, the antagonist runs out in front of a
speeding train (Which turns into the demon for the bad guy, but remains a
train for the onlookers). I don't remember who opens his mouth to scream,
(it's been thirty years) but instead of a scream, what we hear is the
train whistle. Hope that was somewaht clear. It's not easily explained.
