It's true, I'm really in panic!
 
I've been invited to give some lectures on scriptwriting and I suddently
realized that I don't know "anything" about it. I just like to write ;-)
 
Please help me and send me every idea and whatever you might dream you ever
learned on a screen writing short course, anything at all...
 
Just to give you some clues:
 
1. Why and how do you manage to write one minute per page format?
 
2. What rules the narrative structure of a comedy, a drama or a documentary?
 
3. Wich way you usually start with:
 
        a) A general idea (an image, a line...)
        b) A book, a newspaper article
        c) a step-by-step from start to end
 
4. Any historical background on screen writing
 
        Who started it? When?
        Did Griffit had anything to do with it?
        What major films (or scenes within...) would you consider historical
in the sense of the screen writing history?
        What major books should I (they) read?
 
5. What would you consider the Do's and the Don'ts on the profession?
 
6. What sources of information?
 
        I suppose that these few lines explain quite clearly my panic ;-)
        So please throw me everything you like!
