JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Radio-Television-Film Program at the University of Wisconsin=
Oshkosh
invites applications to the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor=
of
Communication (Radio-TV-Film). Applicants should be able to teach=
a
variety of courses that stress critical thinking in a program that
integrates professional training, theory, and practice. The successful
candidate will design and teach courses in media theory/criticism/history,
an introductory survey course, and a media writing class. Applicants
should also be able to teach at least three of the following:=20
Communication and Technology in the Information Age, Women and Minorities
in American Film, Advanced Media Writing, Broadcast News, Media Ethics,
Broadcast Law, Film Production, or Video Production. The chosen=
candidate
should have an interest in exploring the potentials of new technologies.=

In addition to teaching, responsibilities include conducting scholarly
research and publication in one's area of interest; student advising;
departmental, university, and community service. =20
Requirements: Ph.D. in Radio-TV-Film or related area. Evidence=
of
potential for successful teaching and scholarly productivity. =20
