The editor of a special issue of FILM CRITICISM on pure theory in
Third World and Feminist cinema/video seeks manuscripts.Complete
papers (no longer than 15 pages, including works cited, in MLA format,
with no footnotes) should be sent directly to the guest editor:
Wheeler Winston Dixon, Department of English, 202 Andrews Hall,
University of nebraska, Lincoln, NE 68588-0333.The issue is filling up
rapidly, so please respond ASAP.I am particularly interested in papers
concentrating on crucial issues in representation, production,
reception,without citing specific films/videos and/or directors.
Post-Colonial approaches are most certainly welcome. Please do not
respond by e-mail; this is a posting only. Send only completed
manuscripts by mail; no proposals, please. Wheeler Winston Dixon,
Chair, Film Studies, UNL.
