A great book I was given for an Advaced Filmmaking class was "Thinking In
 Pictures". It followed the production of John Sayles' "Matewan". A good look
 into how
 
es". A look at the production of John Sayles' "Matewan". A good indepth look at
how a singular film is made really lends to the analysis of others. I couldn't
recommend it strong enough. It was a huge help to me. I may have some others or
