Please join the Film & History Journal for its annual conference in Kansas City and consider giving a presentation on The Depression Era Western (1930-1969), an area rich with insights and illumination.

-- The Films of Roy Rogers
-- John Ford's "Stagecoach"
-- The Portrayal of the American Indian in the 1930s
-- William Wellman's "The Ox-Bow Incident"
-- The Westerns of Howard Hawks

The 2002 meeting of the Film & History Society will be at the Kansas City Marriot, Country Club Plaza, next door to the Kansas Ciy Arts Institute. Special events  are planned for the meeting.
