      The Michelin guide popularized -- if it did not introduce -- the use
 
      of one, two and three-star designations;  if memory serves, one star
 
      was for a restaruant worth stopping at if you were passing by, two
 
      for a restaruant worth making a side-trip to and three for a
 
      restaurant which was worth making an entire trip.  Four stars is puffery.
